Keeping customer information secure is a top priority
for all of us at Fidelity Bank (the "Bank", Fidelity,
or "We"). This privacy notice is to help you understand
how we handle the personal information about you that we collect
and may disclose. This notice will apply to former customers as
well as current customers unless we state otherwise.
In this notice we refer to “our affiliates.”
When we do, we mean the companies that are part of the Fidelity
family and are controlled by, or control, the Bank. These affiliates
include the Bank and the Bank’s holding company, Fidelity Bancorp.
On the other hand, when we refer to “non-affiliated third
parties”, we mean companies that are not part of the Fidelity
family.
In this notice, we also refer to “nonpublic
personal information.” Generally, this indicates information
that you provide to the Bank to obtain a financial product or service,
or information the Bank obtains in connection with providing that
product or service to you.
Fidelity protects the nonpublic personal information we collect
about you by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards
that comply with federal standards. We train the people who work
for us, how to properly handle your nonpublic personal information.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to
personnel who need to know that information to provide products
and services to you.
We may collect nonpublic information about you from the following
sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications
or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us;
and
- Information we receive from consumer reporting
agencies.
We may disclose all of the types of information
that we collect as described above to companies that perform operational
functions and services on our behalf or to other institutions with
whom we have joint marketing agreements.
Fidelity does not share nonpublic personal information with its
affiliates, and does not sell its customers’ information to
any third parties. To enable us to better serve you, we may disclose
of the information we collect, as described above, to companies
with which we have contracted to perform operational functions and
services on behalf of the Bank or to other institutions with which
we have joint marketing agreements. We also may disclose nonpublic
personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties with
your consent or at your direction or as otherwise permitted by law.
